Making the shift from Old Covenant thinking to TRUE New Covenant Life!
PART 1:
We have been discipled well in religion and smallness, but not well in freedom. Our definitions of sin and righteousness have come more from an Old Covenant view and need to shift. Tim unpacks Romans 3 and 4, showing us how revolutionary and freeing a New Covenant life really is.
PART 2:
New covenant freedom is so far reaching that it provokes the question, “doesn’t that mean I can do anything I want?” Tim shows that being discipled in freedom is not about another set of rules to follow, but about learning to manage what we want.
PART 3:
When it comes to the things we struggle with, our primary problem is not that we’ve broken the rules. It’s brokenness of heart that needs healing. Our focus on rules actually empowers the things that we’re trying to get free of.
PART 4:
Tim looks at one of the most poorly interpreted pieces of Scripture in the New Testament. Nowhere does Paul describe the Christian life as one of constant battle with the flesh. In fact we are “super-conquerors”.
